We're off to Maine for the week but I will leave you with this. This is a funny clip of the little man laughing with carrots all over his face. Check out the three posts below this one - I updated last night!

Better Crawling Video!

Here is a better video of Gage crawling. He is really on the move!

Sneak Peek of Gage's Halloween Costume!

I could not resist when I got it in the mail today. He is going to be so darn cute!

B-A-N-A-N-A-S

Almost every morning I eat a banana with breakfast and Gage will sit and watch me eat it and really not be that interested. But recently every time I eat my banana he will grab for it and want to try some himself. So, this morning we put him in his highchair and let him eat a little. (With supervision of course.) He loved it! I think this will soon become a morning routine for him as well.

I guess we should enlist him now!

Gage has started crawling, well let me rephrase that ARMY crawling. He for some reason he really has no desire to crawl. He loves to hold your hands and walk, or stand and play with his music table, but crawling is not really his forte. I have tried to reassure him that the "duck and cover" method is not really necessary in the living room, but apparently using "all fours" doesn't seem real exciting either. I know he will get it eventually but for now, we will just have to settle for the ARMY crawl. Here is a little video I captured this morning. He's kinda cranky because it was almost time for his morning nap, but at least you will get the idea.

Sophie the Giraffe is ours!!

Gage and I were out running errands today and while out I thought I might stop at Cinnamon Bears Children Boutique in Edmond to see if we could find the coveted Sophie the Giraffe. I have been on waiting lists, had my mom on the lookout in Houston, and gone to so many different stores to find Sophie with no avail but today must have been my day. We found a Sophie!!! Yay! Gage is already in love.

Our little muffin man!

Today we were getting ready for Gymboree, and muffin Gage was looking so cute! I could not help myself I had to take a few pictures of him. This is such a fun age!! He smiles so much and laughs all the time. Maybe I'm bias but I think this little guy is so cute! Oh, I also included a few of him from this morning when he was trying to get Macie, our dog! When he gets moving she better look out!

Fun with a Cup

Isn't it completely fitting that little Gage would find a plastic cup more entertaining than all of the more expensive toys from (pick your favorite toy store)? So it's been a long while since I posted and Ashleigh encouraged me to post about the cup - so here I am. This cup was actually a huge accident - it was one of those long days where you're nearly falling asleep at the wheel on the drive home with a massive pounding headache. The days where you daydream about stopping for happy hour, enjoying a margarita loaded with tequila, and then coming home and going right to bed at 8pm....but wait, there's a smell of sweet potatoes and you find yourself in front of a changing table with a diaper loaded full of a digested sweet potatoes and your son laughing at you while he tries his best to get the aforementioned sweet potatoes everywhere. Did I mention that it is orange and stains everything? Back to the day - I was dead tired and got home just hoping that the baby and I could relax while Mom prepared dinner. My form of relaxation came with sitting on the stool with Gage in my lap and spinning this cup. He's at the age where he finds any "new" thing completely interesting so this was something new and interesting for him. As it turns out, he finds it completely hilarious as well. The sound of his laughter and appreciation for something so simple made the rest of my day so much more enjoyable....I still had a few drinks later! Enjoy!

Gigi's Visit!

Last week my mom came to visit us and hang out for a few days. It was so nice to have her here to help out and cook amazing food. Gigi went to Gymboree with us, spent time with Gage in his pool and babysat so Daniel and I got a night out. We had so much fun and enjoyed every minute of her visit. Gage loves his Gigi! Here are a few pictures from her visit. (Sorry for all the slide shows. It is the easiest way to show all the pictures. Also, I changed the music this time.)
